Terms of Service

Effective 2026-10-23. OddsHype is operated by HYPERSMARTY LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we", "us").

1. What the service is

OddsHype is a sports information and analysis service: odds comparison, expected-value ("+EV") calculations, line-movement and injury news, a verified results ledger, and alerts. We are not a sportsbook. We do not accept, place, or settle wagers, hold user funds, or act as an agent for any sportsbook or user.

2. Eligibility

You must be 21 or older (or the legal betting age where you are, if higher) and able to form a binding contract. You confirm this when you sign up; we may close accounts that don't qualify.

3. Your responsibility for local law

Sports betting laws differ by state and country. We show only sportsbooks and markets we believe are licensed or available where you tell us you are, but you are responsible for making sure any bet you choose to place is legal for you. Do not use the service to bet with unlicensed or offshore operators.

4. No guarantees; not advice

All content is for information and entertainment. Probabilities, edges, and projections are estimates and can be wrong. Past results do not predict future results. No result is guaranteed. Nothing here is financial, legal, or professional gambling advice. Only bet what you can afford to lose.

5. Results ledger

Alerts are recorded in a hash-chained ledger at the moment they are created and graded automatically from final scores. The methodology is published on the Results Methodology page. If we find a grading error we correct it with a new, visible ledger entry; we never delete records.

6. Subscriptions, renewals, cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Before you pay we show the price, renewal interval, and how to cancel, and we ask for your express consent. You can cancel online at any time from your account (or the billing portal link in every receipt); cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period. We email a confirmation with cancellation instructions after purchase, and a reminder before any annual renewal. Refunds: we don't refund partial periods except where the law requires it.

7. Handicappers and user content

Handicappers are independent third parties, not our employees or agents. Picks are locked when posted and graded automatically; handicappers may not delete or edit picks, use guarantee language, or promote unlicensed operators. We may remove content and ban accounts that break these rules. You grant us a license to display content you post on the service. Copyright complaints: see our DMCA policy.

8. Alerts

Alerts are sent through the channels you turn on (Telegram, app or browser push, email). Delivery can be delayed or fail, prices move quickly, and an alert is not an offer from any sportsbook. We do not send betting alerts by SMS text message.

9. Acceptable use

No sharing, reselling, or redistributing paid alerts or data; no scraping; no multiple or shared accounts to evade limits; no use for any unlawful purpose.

One account, one person, one device at a time. Your login is for you only. An account can be signed in on one device at a time; signing in on a new device ends the previous session. Each plan includes fair-use limits (for example, live-board page loads per hour, alerts per day and followed handicappers) shown on the Pricing page. We may suspend accounts that share logins or exceed fair use repeatedly.

10. Third-party names and data

Sportsbook and team names are used only to identify where a price is available or which game it refers to; no affiliation or endorsement is implied. Odds data is licensed from third-party providers and may be delayed or inaccurate — always confirm the price in the sportsbook before betting.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any betting losses, lost profits, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

12. Disputes

Illinois law governs these terms. Courts in Lake County, Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

13. Changes

We'll post changes here and notify subscribers of material changes; continued use after the effective date means you accept them. You'll be asked to re-accept for material changes.
